Celebration of Life Services

(More commonly referred to as a funeral or a memorial service)

Pastor John and Redeemer Lutheran Church count it a privilege to hold memorial services for those who have gone to be with the Lord. We call the service a Celebration of Life.

A Celebration of Life service is a special time set aside to remember and celebrate the life of our departed loved one. We gather to love and support those who are deeply affected by the loved one's passing. It is also a time to celebrate that Jesus died and rose again, breaking the bonds of death and opening the way of eternal life.

The first step for a Celebration of Life service is to contact the church office and make an appointment with Pastor John. The church office will check the calendar to make sure the sanctuary is available for the date and time you want to have the service. The office will get a message to Pastor John and he will contact you within a very short time (usually within 24 hours).

There are often many decisions to be made in a relatively short period of time. We want to help you move through those decisions in an orderly way that doesn't add additional stress to an already difficult time.

The documents linked below are provided to help you plan a memorial service in conjuction with Pastor John.
