Serving in our Community

Marion-Polk Food Share

We collect weekly donations of food for pick-up by the Marion-Polk Food Share.  These collections support food pantries and meal sites throughout Marion and Polk counties.

Redeemer Community Garden

Established in 2010, our garden operates in partnership with the Marion-Polk Food Share Community Garden Program to provide garden space for approximately 20 households.  We connect people in our community through the joy of growing fresh nutritious food for their families.

Good News Club

We host a weekly Good News Club for children ages 4-12 years through the school year.  Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) who's goal is to evangelize, disciple, and then establish children in a local church. In a world that seems to hate children, CEF believes in loving and encouraging children through first leading them to have a relationship with Jesus.  See our calendar for dates and times.

Missions Door

We provide support to Missions Door, a local ministry of Campus Ambassadors led by Garrett and Jessica Berk.  Their mission is to create diverse communities of Christ-followers on local college campuses in our area.  They seek to train and create disciples, and create opportunities for evangelism and Kingdom Service, in coordination with the local church.

Hope Pregnancy Clinic

We participate in the annual Baby Bottles for Hope fundraising campaign by the Hope Pregnancy Clinic. At Hope, they value both mother and baby, knowing that when they provide the help and support that the mother needs, she is able to make a choice for life.

Habitat for Humanity

We participate in the annual Hope Builders' Breakfast fundraising campaign for Habitat for Humanity of the Mid-Willamette Valley. We have volunteered at numerous home builds in the Salem area.
