Created and vetted by experts, including leaders in Christian higher education and a licensed mental health counselor

The Resilient Minds Course promotes mental wellness rooted in Christ. The Student Book covers twelve lessons, four pages each, covering various mental health topics. Each lesson opens with Scripture, then provides interactive charts and questions, insightful graphics, and tips for mental wellness.

With lesson content created and vetted by leaders in Christian higher education and a licensed mental health counselor, Resilient Minds seeks to promote wellness in all aspects of students’ lives.

The Resilient Minds course includes:

  • Lesson 1: Basic Principles of Mental Health
  • Lesson 2: Know Your Brain
  • Lesson 3: Resting in God's Promises
  • Lesson 4: You Can Trust Jesus
  • Lesson 5: Managing Anxiety
  • Lesson 6: Identity in Christ
  • Lesson 7: The Emotion of Anger
  • Lesson 8: Healthy Perspectives
  • Lesson 9: Guard Your Heart and Mind
  • Lesson 10: Healthy Relationships
  • Lesson 11: Resiliency

What does the workbook look like?

You can see a little video look-through of the workbook. It's just a video of someone turning the pages, but you can get an idea of what it looks like. Here's the link: brief look-through of the Resilient Minds student book.

What if my child will be gone for part of the summer?

  • First, each lesson is a standalone lesson. It is not cumulative in the way that math is.
  • Second, we will walk with your child through the previous lesson so they have a handle on the content (even though they will miss the exercises and discussions).

Is there a cost?

No. Each workbook is $10. We are not charging a fee for taking this class. If you are able to contribute $10 to cover the cost of the student book, that would be great. But if $10 is not easy for you right now, we are glad to have your child attend at no cost to you. (And, if you want to contribute $20 or more so that you provide a free workbook for another student, that would be great, too!)
